About me

I am Embedded Application Developer, working in Nokia as R&D Architect. I have development experience of more than 10 years.

Expert in 'C', loves programming. Knows Python, GO, HTML (and related), ELM, Elixir and few more.

I am telecom expert, having more than 10 years of experience in PCU (EGPRS) and CS user place handling.

Around 80% of my experience is either working with Nokia or working for Nokia projects via Aricent.

All of the projects are developed in 'C'.

As an Architect, my role includes working as individual contributor as well managing team.

Projects Details

PCU (Packet Control Unit)

PCU unit resides in BSC and responsible of EGPRS Signalling and Data handling as mentioned in 3GPP specifications.

I have implemented 3GPP Rel-13 to support EC-IOT support for EGPRS. Currently I am working to port PCU into cloud platform.

ETP (Exchange Terminal for Packet Processing)

ETP unit resides in BSC and responsible of CS (RTP) data handling on Abis and A interface. ETP routes data from BTS to MGW (MSC) and vice versa.

Master of Engineering (2005-2007), Thapar University, Patiala (Punjab)

Qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) - 2005.
